I'm a Scottish-based PR consultant and freelance journalist with over 15 years’ experience in media, PR, marketing and events.
I've directed consumer campaigns for clients including House of Fraser Scotland, Hamilton & Inches, Laing Edinburgh, Lothian Buses, Musselburgh Racecourse, Edinburgh Dungeon, the Scottish Wedding Show, The Balmoral Hotel, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, Museum Galleries Scotland, Giorgio Armani Beauty, Kiehl’s, The People’s Postcode Lottery and the National Lottery, to name a few.
As well as working in some of Scotland’s top agencies, I spent several years as a columnist and lifestyle journalist for the Scotsman Publications where I edited the weekly magazine, Life&Style. I am currently a beauty columnist for the Edinburgh Evening News, regular contributor to Scottish glossy, i-on, and continue to write for publications including the Scotsman Publications, Press & Journal, i-on magazine, Tie the Knot Scotland, Glamour.com and the Scottish Sun.
Specialising in creative multi-media campaigns spanning media relations, marketing, digital and social communications, I work with clients of all sizes and budgets, from the niche to the big name. As a trained journalist, I've a strong news sense with first class writing skills. I know what makes a story – and how to create one.
